Do you find yourself saying, “There’s not enough time in the day!”
It’s a common refrain.
One that you might want to quit.
Because you’re wiring your brain to experience not enough time in your day.
The more you focus on how limited time is, the more limiting your time feels.
As long as you keep thinking and saying, ‘there isn’t enough time,’ you’re going to create the conditions that reflect that reality. You’re setting yourself up to be overwhelmingly busy.
Emphasis on overwhelm.
You’re creating anxiety.
Every time you say, ‘I don’t have enough time!’ you shoot a surge of stress through your system.
Instead, try breaking the habit. When you hear that old refrain from yourself or someone else, tell yourself that you have all the time you need.
When you stop telling yourself there isn’t enough time, you eliminate that stressor and can put your creative juices and energy toward what you want to accomplish.
Time anxiety comes from feeling like you’re not spending your time in the best way possible. Ask yourself what time well spent means to you.
As you focus your attention on that conversation, you’ll create more of it in your life.
Slowly, your world will shift. You’ll start prioritizing. You’ll more naturally take actions that change the way you manage your time and create the time you need.
